This is not the Surface Pro 5, Microsoft says that this is only the *new* Surface Pro from now on. Their tablet / laptop hybrid has not changed much on the outside, the new things are on the inside with about 800 new custom parts in the new Surface Pro.

The computer now comes with new Intel seventh-generation Kaby Lake processor, you can choose a Core m3 or a Core i5 with a fan-less design for a quiet machine or a Core i7 with the traditional fan design. To have fan-less options also means that this processors are more energy efficient.

Just like the Surface Laptop, Micrososft is pushing its new Alcantara style for the Surface Pro keyboard, this will cost $159 and the traditional black Type Cover will cost $129.
